Possible to reuse an activation key...

I used to play on an account about a year ago and then quit. After I quit I discovered that my account was hacked and the hacker started playing on my account again. I tried to recover my account and was successful, but my account was locked. I stopped caring about my account but would like to play again on a new account. Is it possible to use the activation key from my old, locked account and use it on my new one?

Once an authentication key has been used, it cannot be removed from the account or reused on a second account.
