Death Knight Creation Issues

Folks, our technicians believe that they have found and resolved the issue causing this.

Can those of you unable to create a Death Knight on your Wrath of the Lich King enabled accounts please log into your 55+ character then log back out?

That should update your account and allow you to create your Death Knight.

Please let us know if you are unable to create a Death Knight after you have tried this. Thank you all for your continued patience while this issue was being investigated.

It has been brought to our attention that players who recently upgraded their accounts to Wrath of the Lich King may be unable to create Death Knights on the realms in which they do not have a level 55 character. Our teams are currently looking into this issue in hopes of providing a resolution as quickly as possible.

If you are currently experiencing this issue, please reply to this thread with the following information:

• Realm you're trying to create the Death Knight on
  
• Date your account was upgraded to Wrath of the Lich King
  
• Approximate Date/Time your first character hit level 55 (on this account)

Updates will be provided in this thread as soon as more information becomes available. To prevent confusion, I humbly request that you keep the discussion herein on-topic and isolated to this thread.

We've referred your information to our technicians, Solojoe, but we also tried a few different things in an attempt to resolve your issue. Can you try creating a Death Knight on Dark Iron once more?

I wanted to see if it would go any higher. We aren't going to get to mars by just sitting around and not bumping now are we? Also my realm seems to have vanished so I am unable to log into my 55 account.

Well as soon as your realm comes back online if you could try logging in with your 55+, it would be appreciated. :)

If you are referring to this account, it has not been upgraded for Wrath of the Lich King, Brick.
