My wow account has been merged with a battle.net account for a while now, and i recently got on the wow account and noticed that i don't know my secret answer. I had never checked it before, i think i either misspelled something or put something unusual, not sure. I know there's no way to change it, but I wanted to know that if this fact could cause problems for me if I was ever hacked. It seems to me that it wouldn't, as a hacker couldn't find out the secret answer for the wow account so they couldn't unmerge it, and since i know all the info for the battle.net account i could always recover it if the password/email was changed. Just wanted to know if my reasoning is correct for my own peace of mind. Thanks :)

Our Billing Department may be able to help you recover your Secret Answer, Ioldk; you may just want to give them a call Monday morning to see if they can offer any insight.

Please do keep in mind that your Secret Answer is case sensitive -- so you may want to make sure that you're keeping that in mind!

It's possible, but I couldn't say for certain, Ioldk. I can tell you that they will need to verify some information with you to ensure they are speaking with the registered user of the account, though. It never hurts to make a quick phone call to see!
