Account suspension email scam???

i got an email today saying my account will be suspended for trying to sell or trade the account and if i do not respond with my full name, password, security question and other information my account will be immediately suspended... is this for real?? or a scam... i have never even considered selling or trading an account... and mine is set to expire soon anyway... what do i do about this???
