Can a trial account be deleted after expiry?

I made a silly mistake. I thought I would try creating another account and play around with dual boxing. However, I've decided that paying for 2 accounts would be a silly expenditure at this time.

I deleted a name I've had reserved for a long time, Azrael, on this account, and created him on the trial account. I leveled him up a bit, then I let the account expire.

I've gone into the account management section of the wow site but can't find an option to delete the account, and I'd really like the name for one of my characters on my main account.

Is there anything I can do?

We do not currently offer the option to delete a World of Warcraft account once it has been created. However, if you are looking to have a character on frozen trial account deleted, we may be able to assist. While I cannot guarantee any specific resolution, please feel free to contact the Billing and Account Services department and we will be happy to review the matter for any available options.
