Prot as healers in PvP

as of right now, prot paladins wearing healing gear are pretty insane. They have a stun on a 20 second cooldown, a silence on a short cooldown, and its impossible for them to go out of mana. They do have there draw backs obviously, but its just silly that this spec is still viable for healing in the arena.

Is this being looked at at all? With all the tools they have to get out of CC's, and cleansing ability, and there mana non-issues, it just seems that its simply not a fair spec. ON this character I have not had much expierience doing 2's this season, but on my other characters I do, and it just seems utterly CHEESY that paladins ALWAYS have some obscure spec that is better than there holy tree.

Maybe swap some things around so they dont have access to the lower tier very good talents as that spec? Just make holy shock the 51 point talent :P It will still be better than riptide :(

It's slightly silly because I agree those "Protadins" are playing as healers. At the same time, we're not sure it's hurting anything and it hasn't yet become the only way to play a healing paladin. So for now, we're willing to call it a creative use of game mechanics and not a problem we need to stomp out.

We'll see where it ends up in a few weeks though. Our answer may be different. :)
