If Blizz agrees Warlock PvP is not ok ...

... can we also agree that Hunters are in the same boat ? In our alternate universe, Warlocks and Hunters have been fighting for first place in arena representation.

Yesterday I saw an interesting post by GC regarding the status of Warlocks in arena. He stated that Blizz is unhappy with the current state of Warlocks in PvP, I think he was referring specifically to arenas. This leads me to believe that Blizz will be looking to improve locks in the near future. I am always happy to see another class get some work done for them, however I don't want to be in the basement by myself !

I have been following this forum closely ( as painful as that can be ) and aside from the small PvE damage upgrades for Hunters I have not yet seen any plans to improve Hunter arena feasibility in the near future. Have I missed anything ?

Specifically I have gathered that the largest obstacles are reduced mobility due to the changes made to the Hunter class in 3.1. Also I dissapointed by the Viper Sting option removal in the same patch. I guess I'm one of the few people that enjoyed draining mana users pre-3.1. Priests were the only class unable to remove that particular Sting, and I would suggest giving that single class the ability to remove it as opposed to removing the ability to drain mana altogether - especially when that option remains for some other classes.

I feel that the addition of balanced abilities creates a better game - as opposed to the removal of them. More balanced abilities add more layers to the battle and prevents, to a point, the over-homoginization of all the classes. Then again .... I'm the guy that liked to beat people with Zangief in Marvel vs. Capcom.

Thoughts ?

We want hunter representation in Arena to be higher than it currently is.
