How do I traced back my retail key # with my transaction #? my retail key wont work for upgrade. Does that have something to do with the 72 hour deal from a new account?

Did you do the Electronic Upgrade, Atacis? When you upgrade you will get a confirmation with your Authentication Key for your records. You will not need to use this key however as it is automatically used on your account when you do the Electronic Upgrade.

Once upgraded you will have certain trial restrictions in place for up to 72 hours while the transaction is verified. Once the verification process has finished all restrictions will be lifted and you will get an e-mail confirming this.

When you upgrade from a trial to full version via the Electronic Upgrade you will have trial restrictions for up to 72 hours. The leveling cap is removed to ensure you can get past level 20.

The Electronic upgrade for $19.99 also only covers the World of Warcraft. It does not pay for the Burning Crusade expansion pack so you will not have Burning Crusade content access.
