[BUG] Champion's Purse

I have found a possible exploit in the [Champion's Purse] that I would like to report. This item is a reward for one of the four different daily quests you get from the new Argent Crusade Dailies.

The item I speak of can be seen here: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=45724

Now, about the exploit, it consist in the ability of you gaining more than the amount that you should get from the purse, which from what the website WoWhead says (It may be wrong, but I believe it's true because I have always gained this amount on them), you gain 10 gold.

Now here is a screenshot of my character in game, just finished doing the dailies that grant you a champion's seal and the choice between an item for reputation or [Champion's Purse]:

http://img154.imageshack.us/img154/8871/wowscrnshot052809184229.jpg

As you can see in the top left, my character's inventory says I have 4 [Champion's Purse], but, down in my message log, you can see that I have looted twice the item, and that the 10 Gold amount has been added twice into my money, without any of my [Champion's Purse] being spend.

The exploit consist in doing the following:

First go and get a purse by doing one of the 4 dailies. Go to the NPC that awards you the quest reward, and select as a quest reward [Champion's Purse].

Now is the tricky part. I don't know if this exploit works without my addons on, but I won't go and find out because I have done it already twice, and I don't want to risk my character getting banned for this, but anyway, I have the following addons running that might have an effect or not in the client that may cause the effect:

Dominos
Ark Inventory
Deadly Boss Mods
Omen Threat Meter
Bag Sort
Carbonite Quest Helper
Recount
TankWarnings
PitBull

And a few others that are turned off but I don't remember at the moment.

Now, after you have in your possession a [Champion's Purse], *removed this part so that players may not read how to make the exploit*

I have filled a ticket in game and I am awaiting for a GM to contact me.

*EDIT* Removed how to make the exploit

Do you actually receive the gold reward twice, Mistreseliza?

Q u o t e:
I thought of that, but then I looked in my inventory, and still had all 4 [Champion's Purse] on me, even though my money when up from 700ish gold to 720 gold.

Did you attempt to open the Purse again to see if anything was in it?

Alright, thanks folks. I'll forward this to our Quality Assurance Department for further testing.

Avoid attempting to duplicate it if you could. :)

You should be fine, Mistreseliza, I would just avoid further demonstration of this until it can be addressed by our QA department. :)

Thank you for bringing it to my attention.

Q u o t e:
i) took this as meaning you were unaware of

I am not aware of all issues that our Quality Assurance Department may be looking into. That is true. I couldn't possibly know all of them.

Q u o t e:
ii) thought you doubting the OP

Asking for clarification on what someone has experienced isn't necessarily doubting, Kantankerus, I was simply trying to get specific information.
Q u o t e:

iii) under this misunderstanding I offended your sense of professionalism as much as iv) you have offended my sense of trying to just lend a hand.

I understand you were just trying to help, that is why I changed my original statement and I apologize if I offended you. Your statement, to me, sounded more than a little condescending as if I wasn't aware of the procedures that I need to follow. O.o

The truth of the matter is, if I didn't think the issue important enough to forward to QA myself I would have told the OP to post in the Bug Report Forums or simply move the thread there myself.

Sorry, Kant. <3

I received a message from an Ingame GM and I reported the issue. Wanted to let you know Mr. Blue :].

Thank you, Mistreseliza, two reports are always better than one, though I believe this is probably on QA's radar already from what I've seen.

Always good to have additional information, that never hurts. :D
