Now that we got this out of the way I was wondering what mount obtaining model will be used this year? The random drop or purchased with tokens? The reason I am asking is if it will be a drop my wife and I will have to talk with 3 of our guildies ahead of time to do this even every day together.

There are currently no plans to change the setup for this achievement from how it worked last year which is all drops off Coren Direbrew in BRD. Brewfest is still a ways out though, so changes could happen.

Last time we talked about this there were no plans to change the drop rates or remove it from the meta. Like I said before, things could still change, but don't be surprised if nothing changes.

I doubt we will make them purchasable with tokens, if we want to make changes to this we will likely go a different route.

We bumped the headless horseman up last year so this should be no different.

*Raises a hand* Did the boss on a near daily basis on all of my character for the duration of brewfest, never saw a single mount drop. In fact no one in my regular group did. The drop rate could see a little bumping up if it's going to be part of the meta. As it stood, you had to do it daily when it started to even have a chance at it and that's a hindrance for people who can't do it every day.

I did it with a couple of my guildies everyday and each of us had multiple alts to bring in. We easily got the achievement on all of our main characters, we were just lucky that enough of a split happened that each of us was able to end up with both of the mounts.

Let the rumor wagon commence as there is quite a possibility that a change is in the works. I don't have any details to share at the moment but it will likely be easier to get.
