Vanilla Visa card not working for WoW

Hello. I recently received a Vanilla Visa gift card as a gift. I would like to buy a character re-customization, but every time I click the finalize button, I get the error "Invalid credit card number." I just registered the card online, so I don't know what the problem is.

Can anybody help me?

There are several possible causes for this issue, Nielsen. The first thing you may want to do is check and make sure you are entering the correct information for the verification code for the card in question. For Visa cards this should be a 3 digit number located on the back of the card. You may also want to try clearing the cache and all temporary internet files on your internet browser, or even consider using another web browser.

Additionally, please note that each attempt at a Character Re-Customization may result in a temporary $1 dollar pending charge on the card. If this pending charge lowers the available balance below the required amount for the transaction, then we will not be able to process it successfully.

Finally, if you continue to experience issues online, and you are sure that the card has enough available funds for a Character Re-Customization, please feel free to contact the Billing and Account Services department by phone and we will be happy to help as much as possible.
