So i did some research and found out its ok to trade in-game gold for in-game items (aka key codes for trading card items). Today this guy comes around and offers to sell me a spectral tiger mount for 10k with 5k up front. The guy seemed nice enough and legit as i was talking to him so i went forward with it. Gave him 5k. He gave me a key code and instructed me where to go to get the mount. As i`m inputting the key he loggs. The key does not work.

Please submit an in-game petition as soon as you're able to, and our staff will investigate the matter thoroughly. While such exchanges are not currently against our policies, they are not a supported transaction, and we may not be in a position to provide reimbursement for any lost currency.
We will investigate the matter thoroughly and take appropriate action though.
