Scroll of Resurrection - Not Working

I tried to use a scroll of resurrection for my friend, however they are not getting the email to use it. I have tried doing the scroll with their character name and their email address. They have already checked their spam folder and the email is not in there either. How long does it usually take for the email to be sent using the scroll of resurrection?

Edit: Friend got the email (following Blue suggestion) however now when they try to click on the link it gives them an error.

If your friend is not receiving the e-mail I would recommend having him check his spam and junk e-mail settings before resending it. His e-mail service may block it unintentionally, mistaking it as junk e-mail.

If his settings are set to allow the e-mails through you may want to try sending to a different e-mail service provider. For example, you could have him set up a free e-mail account just for the purposes of receiving the e-mail. This may require a minute of his time, but would be worth it to get you the Resurrection free month bonus, and 10 days free for him :)

I just received confirmation that the Scroll of Resurrection service is temporarily unavailable.

We are working to get it back up and fully operational at this time and will be available as soon as possible. If you would like to keep an eye out on the forums I will update as soon as it becomes available.

It's been down since at least Tuesday. I sent a scroll to my friend that day, and he's been trying to confirm it ever since. He clicks the "accept" link in the e-mail, logs in, and just gets an error screen saying "Sorry, but there has been an error with your request."

It sucks because it's a long weekend here and he'd like to get some game time in. But it looks like that's not going to happen.

I was able to get confirmation the service was available earlier this week. I would not be able to attest to why your friend may have been encountering this issue earlier in the week.

As an update we are still working on resolving this issue, I do apologize for not having more information to offer you at this point but please rest assured that we are working to get this resolved. As I am sure you can understand, we want this up just as much as you do since it does support bringing more players back to Azeroth :)
