Transferring Character across accounts

I operate two wow subscriptions (under the same battle.net account) with a number of characters on both accounts. I'd like to copy one of my characters across, but I'm not sure if I want to keep him there for too long (I may in say, 2 weeks time, decide I want to move him back). I think when I did this last there was a 30 day timer put on preventing me from transferring that character within 30 days of transferring.

I looked through the character transfer FAQ but couldn't find anything about this in there?

There is a cooldown on transfers. You won't want to do this unless you can commit to the new realm for at least 30 days.

Realm and account transfers are handled through the same system, yes.
