Equipment Manager? Wheres the storage?

The whole reason people were even excited about the manager was the mentioning of ,"this feature will allow players to store sets of equipment,"

Now I'm not trying to be a smartass, but storage means I can take my bunches of armor peices from 3 different sets, and put them in the manager so my bag space is free.

Now either blizzard took this aspect of the UI addition out (pretty much making it lame kuz any1 can macro a set switch to a hotkey, just know what itemslot is what). Or I have either missed the point....or missed the button or whatever that lets me STORE things.

We probably should've worded it differently. The plan was never to actually allow for a separate place where your gear can be stored other than your bags. Sets of gear, however, can be stored (read: saved) so you can switch between them easily.

Sweet, so now I can finally uninstall Outfitter to use Blizzard's Outfitter for no reason.

Edit: My first first! Zarhym, can you pose for a picture, the wife isn't gonna believe this.

I'm doing my best, super sweet pose for you right now, bro.

This is a complete LIE at either Blizzcon or another event someone asked about the bag space and gear set problem. One of the main blizzard people said on stage "We can do better then itemrack or outfitter and have the addon store the gear to save bag space" it was something along those lines BUT it was 100% said blizz planned on this so "The plan was never to actually allow for a separate place where your gear can be stored other than your bags" is a LIE

Thank you for pointing this out. I became aware of this after the first 10 or so posts in this thread calling me a liar. As we do not technically share a collective brain here at Blizzard, there are times when not every employee will be on the same page with all information ever shared with the public. I was not aware of that quote. While it might disprove what I said in this thread yesterday, it doesn't mean I intentionally meant to deceive people by lying.
