Nethaera opened up the flood gates

Nethaera started a new Blue Post on the shaman forums regarding any questions we would like answered about out class. Immediately he is flooded with responses. I think the poor guy may have bit off more than he can chew.

But I really do hope that he can help our class and I wish him the best of luck as he spends hours reading the responses that only took a few minutes to pop up.

I encourage every dedicated shaman to contributed for the better of our class, and post up detailed and helpful stuff.

With that being said:

Good Luck Nethaera.

Bornakk, Eyonix and Zarhym are all busy with their own floods.

As an old god once said...

"Your friends will abandon you"

Bah. It's all fine.

If you take a look at the thread I have linked in the Q&A here, you'll see we have a schedule in mind and plan to get around to all of the classes at some point over the upcoming weeks. Don't worry.

In the meantime, you can feel free to post as you like there and start up some discussion threads that you can reference when we do post there. That might help a bit.

Heres my 2 cents-

yeah thanks for opening the post its great right?

well the idea is good but when you open a post asking for questions about things to come im sure the shaman of wow would appreciate an appropriate response. i saw maybe 1 blue post per page if that. and i know its probably hard to fit a word in but what little words that the blue post consisted of were things like "please specify". and i dont know if that post was designed for blues to answer them or to put a bunch of shaman in a room and see what they all agree to complain on (which would still be numerous topics). i know blizz has quiet a big population to deal with but im really for "ask and you shall recieve" and it didnt look like anyone was really receiving. im sorry if this is flaming the work that blues do but im really not happy with blizz atm. love the game but would love it more if response time/ responses were quicker and better.

once again great idea just unsatisfying

If you notice in the original sticky post, it explains what we are doing with these questions. Our intent is to answer as many of them as we can. We're not just creating buzz.

Eyonix in the Warlock thread ----

Poor little candle ...... *hugs*

and I thought Eyonix as our little moderator .... or maybe they sent Neth because flaming a candle only makes her stronger.

I'm not concerned. ;) I know bluster when I see it. Everyone here is doing a great job with asking their questions.

The questions are fine and im fairly certain you probably can guess exactly what most people are going to ask, but surely you see where this is going to go? Your answers be just that....answers....but you realise that when you do provide these answers, that the community will not like them at all in the slightest, im very very eager to see exactly what the answer is in regards to the "totem" questions that most people have been asking.

Most people will also feel like this is an opportunity for the community to convey the problems with the class, however when they realise that these questions will most probably not result in any significant change, well....i hope you have an underground bunker handy....

It is a possibility (as always) that some people may not like the answers. Then again, they might like the answers, change their minds, or at least get some better insight into what we're thinking and where we're going.

It is important for everyone to realize, this series of Q&As isn't as much about change as it is about giving some insight where we can. From there, we can see what happens. There is nothing being promised here aside from letting people know, we're still here, and we're going to do our best to put forth some answers to your top questions.
