Engineers' pleas falls on deaf ears

All we want is some compensation so we don't have to reroll another profession to be equal in arenas again.

At the very least a meager stat upgrade

Maybe a trinket enchant or socket trinket?

Your title makes me sad. No plea has fallen upon deaf ears. We listen. It's just that we're not always able to give you the news you want to hear. Changes to engineering are still being discussed, but we may not have any major news for some time.

The big robot is the one coming to appease the engineers.

Just an observation.

The big robot is an engineer.
*Shock* *Awe*
Hard to fathom it, I know. Believe it or not... a certain flaming skull may also know something intimate about the trade.

However, I wouldn't say I'm here to appease engineers. I'm here to try and help by carrying your concerns to the development team.

The same big robot who thinks we can use bombs in arena? :)

The same big robot who doesn't exclude parts of his profession because they aren't currently supporting a point.

Hey Crygil. Mind suggesting to the dev team that since Nitro Boosts were initially nerfed from a 5 to 2 second duration for Arena balance purposes, and since they're no longer usable in Arenas, that maybe we can revert the duration back to 5 seconds?

It really posed no balance issues outside Arenas so I don't see how making the duration 5 seconds again would be problematic.

It would greatly help me out in my trade. The run from the Org AH to the mailbox definitely requires a 5 second Nitro Boost.

Thanks!

I have delivered a number of ideas, from this thread, to the development team. I can tell you that quite a few of them were well received. This suggestion, in-particular, is something they are already considering.

We're told that they are listening. We don't know this for sure. Nor do we know if they comprehend or care.

They care. The game is their tapestry. On it, they work to make a masterpiece. So you, as the audience, can enjoy it. I know there is a lot of speculation about it being "for the money", but that really isn't the case. Many of these individuals could be making significantly larger sums working elsewhere. They work here for the sole purpose of making a truly awesome experience for you, the players.

Mr Crygil.

I think it would help us engineers to see a blue post some of the things that Blizzard is supposedly considering, it would also help us to pitch ideas back to blizzard, allowing them to think of more ideas, then you can post them, and we can reply, etc. So this would help calm the engineers and it would help the Blizzard team to help Engineering.

Sincerely,
Algos/Dodink of Fizzcrank, Level 450 Engineer.

There are some very cool things coming, I wish I could specify as to what they are. Unfortunately, I can't just yet. As soon as we get the go ahead to divulge information, you can bet we will.

I have a Gnomish Universal Remote and I'm not afraid to use it!

My positronic synapse network is too advanced for gnomish gadgetry! Also, I'd run if I saw you and, since I'm a Fel-Reaver, I'd be stealthy. That way I'd see you before you see me and I'd get a good head start.

10g says the reason you can't talk about it is because they flip a coin to deside whether it goes to eng or TCG.
