Meh, I couldn't think of a decent Firefly quote that was forum friendly. And I just know Dauth and Chip are going to chime in with bunches of them, but it's nearly 11:30, and I is sleepy!

It doesn't require Engineering to use it; it just happens to be Bind on Pickup. ^_^

I already have my eyes set firmly on this issue, Bomynè. I'll be sure to let you know if any more information becomes available. :)

Fringe is over. Hereos is over. Castle is over. Lie to Me is over (was "Sacrifice" the finale?). Bones is over.

I need another TV show to watch!

How about Food Network?

Alas, I don't possess networks. I've an Apple TV, so the channel surfing is somewhat limited. :)

How does that work? Buy stuff off iTunes and play it on your TV?

Essentially, yes. AppleTV interacts with iTunes and allows me to purchase or rent shows and movies at will. I also get unlimited access to YouTube. >:D

Q u o t e:
I'm surprised that you don't watch House...

...but that is over, too.

I do—but! As you said, it's over, as well. =/

Although some of the stuff he did regarding what happened on Kelewan via the Tsurani was a bit strange.

I found the idea of Psycho-History to be fascinating and I actually think to some extent it is actually used today in sociological and behavioral modeling projects.
What I find interesting is not so much what Psycho-History entails, but rather the ramifications of it; the concept essentially renders religion and fate obsolete in the sense that it's no longer based on faith, but rather scientific fact and analysis.

However, at the same time it essentially proves some theories and ideologies due to the nature of fate/destiny being consistent and unchangeable. The entire concept is pretty ubiquitous, if you think about it.
