K/DA pop stars has 571 million views/ half a billion people watching it.
It was sung by G-Idle a K-Pop group that is older than Le Sserafim.
If any of you never heard of Blackpink or BTS, they get over 1 billion views for every single MV they release.
Blizzard is very smart to take on this K-pop wave right now. It doesn’t matter that most of Blizzard’s fanbase are not Gen Z and don’t like Kpop. What matters is that it is going to attract newer players to WoW (or other Blizzard games) and in return give more recognition to Blizzard.
Now that Le Sserafim has performed at Blizzcon and they even made a MV for Overwatch. I feel like K-pop has officially integrated into Blizzard now.
