20g Blizzard Rip Off - Chopper

I was one of the people that worked hard and saved gold before the Chopper came out. It looked cool but best of all it did not suffer Fall Damage. Since then Blizzard changed the Chopper so it does take fall damage and it really sucks to mount and dismount. I'm out 20g with a junk mount. Was this a Blizzard planned change to get people to spend 18-20g and then make the item worthless. I want my gold back.

Correct. While we have items that slow your falling speed so you can avoid falling damage, a mount that moves you at 100% speed was not intended to be one of those items. The mechano-hog/chopper are very stylish mounts and other players love to hop in the passenger seat when possible - this mount wins on style points alone.
