We have been experiencing serious lag issues in Ulduar on Tichondrius. This occurs for 1.5 - 2 hours out of our 3 hour raid nights. Seems to start between 7pm and 7:30pm (PDT, server) and goes until we end at 9pm. This is frustrating and hindering our progression.

This lag is server side and seems to be processor lag as ping time typically is very good. Delay on instant cast skills can be as bad as 5-10 seconds and this will go on during peak hours. This issue WILL NOT be solved by making Wintergrasp less desirable to do. Although this issue is effected by wintergrasp, it is altogether a separate issue that stems from over taxed servers. This same issue may be affecting all servers on Bloodlust battlegroup.

I don't think the suggestion should be that we should have to reschedule our raids around lag. Please advise us on your recommendations of what we can do to resolve this issue, or what you are going to do to help correct this issue.

I'm sorry to hear that you guys might be experiencing heightened latency recently. Please accept my sincere apologies if this has proven to be any kind of inconvenience for your raiding =(.

I'd like to gather some more information on this, if at all possible. Can you tell me which realm you're on when this occurs?

Also, can you clarify when this occurs? In raids only, and if so, only in Ulduar? Is the latency worse during certain fights, and if so, which ones?

Finally, can you describe the conditions that you are seeing in detail?

Thanks for the information guys.

We have people continuing our examination of this situation, though the real investigation will begin in earnest as raids start to ramp up in an hour or so.

We likely won't be in a position to provide consistent updates, but I wanted to ensure that you guys were aware that this isn't being ignored, and is receiving active investigation.

gratz on deleting my post... atleast you are reading the forums... im tired of this crap, FIX THE SERVERS, IF YOU NEED HELP PROFESSIONALLY, CONTACT ME ARELAMETH, OR SOOTH AND WE CAN GO FIX THEM FOR YOU!

I thought it better than suspending your account for posting inappropriate language on the forums.

I understand the frustration but the Game Master Department does not investigation or resolve such issues, posting "Fix it" really doesn't help. Keep the posts civil please.

We have been posting about this for 3-4 weeks now. You guys seem to not get the picture. We invest time and money into this game and we cannot even raid. I think a couple of curse words and Fix is nice compared to what our vent really says right now.

And we have said that the issue is being investigated for that long, Autumnashes. Some issues are fair more complicated than you may believe so it can take time to figure out what the issue is and even more time to come up with and test a possible resolution.

You can use whatever language you like to vent your frustrations in the real world, Autumnashes, but if you want to post on these forums please abide by our Code of Conduct.

That being said, can you inform us as to what our server(s) are being brought down tomorrow morning for exactly? We can all assume but the news just states "urgent configuration changes"? What exactly is being done for Blackhand/Proudmoore/Silver Hand/Tichondrius during this update? (A little more insight as to what is happening in the actual Breaking News posts would always be great for your customers btw!).

I'm afraid I don't know, Gotworms, we have the same information you do. Hopefully it will be something that will help out with this situation but I haven't had any updates as of yet.
