If there was an option in game to follow a quest line regarding your race, or faction, and you have a path where you can choose to betray your race or faction. Whether it's for moral reasons, racial reasons, whatever.

Would you betray your own race or faction and become a member of the Horde, or Alliance?

My initial answer is: "No, there would be no honor in doing so."

let me know how much gold and items I can gain and I may rethink it.

I'd either take a Dwarf to the Horde, or I'd bring a Tauren over to the Alliance.
