Well, I did the day the service was available, and I recall there was no warning. They must have added the warning after so many people complained about it.

I don't recall an addition after the fact, I created a B.net account the first day and merged my accounts. It had three lines before finalization.

It says:

Once finalized, you will need to use the Battle.net account name (e-mail address) and its associated password to log into World of Warcraft.

This merge is final. You will not be able to undo this merge once you complete this step.

For security reasons, you will not be able to transfer characters outside this Battle.net account for 30 days. Click here for complete details.

Perhaps I'm misremembering though.

In either case, Holylightx, I'm afraid we are unable to unmerge an account.

Q u o t e:
Well, I shall keep attempting to get it unmerged, you are welcome to keep this thread bumped. I am having issues with my two accounts merged into a single battle.net account.

Please unmerge my accounts.

Thank You

This is not a service that is available, it is not currently possible to unmerge an account. If you wish to see such a service provided you will need to post in our Suggestion Forums.

Bumping the thread for the sake of bumping it will not be permitted.

Good luck to you.

How about we start there then, Holylightx, instead of trying to lead a crusade how about you let us know what the issue is, and we can take it from there.

Vrakthris, I do have a question regarding this issue, because I myself will be soon adding a second account to my battle.net account. This account will be for my son. Will you not un-merge these accounts when he turns 18?

That, along with a compromise and unauthorized merging of an account would be the only two times that I'm aware of where we'd be able to assist.

However, to clarify, we would still be unable to un-merge the account. Once tied to a B.net account it can not be unmerged, it can be moved to a properly created B.net account though.

If compromised and the proper information is provided and specific steps are taken it is possible to move the compromised account to a B.net account registered to the original user of the account.

If a child, who has been using the account created for them turns 18, the parent can contact Billing for instructions on how to transfer ownership of that account to their now, of age, child.

And I do believe this was answered some time ago. No need to spiral folks.
