As it says really.
First of all; I've been into website development for many years and as such understand most of the risks and what is needed my end to secure my computer. Believe me when i say this has been done!

As far as the security on the servers I'm a little worried.
Someone has retrieved my full name and email address and sent me emails trying to temp me into buying gold from their website. The real worry is what else have they retrieved and how they got through the blizzard "secure site" which is the only place I recall entering my personal details.

A note to tech would be it didn't happen till I changed my payment options from what I no and trust to be a secure site to the Blizzard CC payment option.

Please look into what kiddie scripts, sql injections or whatever form is being used to retrieve personal info from your server.

Cheers

If you registered your email address with your real name, it's not that difficult to send you an email and include that information inside of it.

Have you ever used that email address to register for a guild website? Another forum? Sent an email to a friend? That's how they got your information; it wasn't through our systems.

Q u o t e:
As stated the spam I am receiving is targeted at WoW trying to sell gold and only started since I changed payment options. It is "Targeted Spam"..

And if I told you that I've received them on a personal email address I use solely for receiving information about my bills, none of which have anything to do with the World of Warcraft?

These things are sent out to massive numbers of people in the hopes that they'll get someone who plays.
