I have an alternate account which i havn't actively used since WotLK came out. I recently recieved this email about the account being merged with someone and I had absolutely nothing to do with this or any say in the merging whatsoever...

I immediately sent in an email about the situation to the proper address but it's been four days and i still havn't heard anything.

Q u o t e:

That e-mail is a confirmation that the World of Warcraft account in question has been merged into a Battle.net account.

As it seems you are sure you did not do this you may want to contact our Billing & Account Services department via our phone lines at your earliest convenience. Our Billing representatives would be able to attempt verification of your World of Warcraft account and help you recover it, getting it back under your control.
