On the bottom bar you should see a button that looks like a little computer; pressing this button will bring up the Game Menu (or Options window). Once there you can select the Key Bindings option-4th button from the top-and reassign the Escape Key to Toggle Game Menu. The Toggle Game Menu option is under the Interface Panel Functions section.
