EU prepaid gamecard for US account

Hi,

I'm currently studying abroad in Scotland and have been for the past few months. I recently cancelled my account and now I'm back (heh). The problem is that my only option for payment right now is via prepaid cards. I've bought a 60 prepaid card from Amazon; however, it said to activate it at wow-europe.com/gamecard. I googled whether it was possible to use a EU prepaid card for US accounts, but was only able to find that it isn't possible the other way around.

I'm just wondering if I would be able to use the card (I've already scratched off the number before looking at the "Go to www.wow-europe.com/game card and follow the instructions to activate your Game Card." line). I don't believe that it was actually stated on amazon that this was exclusive to EU accounts, although I should have done my research before purchasing one here.

I'd appreciate any help, since I'm a poor college student who needs to feed her wow addiction and if this gamecard doesn't work I don't have any other options :(.

I'm afraid those two systems are not cross-compatible, Pubear.

You may want to contact the EU Billing office about that, I'm not sure what they may be able to do, but it cannot hurt to ask.

Well, you are welcome to call, certainly. I am unsure, however, what remedies we may be able to offer.
