A question about Role forums intent

After reading the post about the spirit nerf to leveling priests, and agonizing over which forum to discuss totems in, I went up and read GC's post about what should/can be posted in here, and what shouldn't/can't be posted in here.

What I'm gathering from

A blue response to the spirit thread

GC's philosophy for these forums (classes debating different classes)

That these forums are used by classes that do heal*, and posts are not always about healing? Is that right, and if so would I post about totems in the healing forum?

*I realize the humor of posting this on a warrior, but this is my main for now and I'm leveling a shaman.

If you want to talk about mechanics, class design or balance, this is a fine place for it. I know it's tricky for issues that affect more than one spec per class.

I don't regularly read the class forums and I rarely post there. We view those more for players distributing information. In your class forum you can ask about good talent builds, glyphs, gear and that sort of thing. If you have issues with how totems work, it's fine to post it here.

To be honest, we are pretty tolerant of any kind of discussion in the role forums. We don't want players to be super paranoid about what they're supposed to post. The only thing we really take a dim view on are offensive, angry or overly whiny posts. We don't want posts that drive other players away from the forums.
