Curious about model designs.

I've always kind of wondered, how come we haven't gotten anymore body types to choose from?

Overweight, thin, no bones showing, etc.

I've seen models on NPCs, but man.....
I'd love to roll a chubby human priest. That'd be so much fun to see.
(I still think it's weird to see male casters that are...well. beefy like warriors)

Would it be a coding nightmare to have the gear fit to new body types, or has it just never really been considered?

On that note - why aren't there any normal glasses? Does everyone on Azeroth have perfect eye sight? XD

I'm also wondering if we'll ever see any NPCS that are kids - but they don't look like they're 5 or 6.
I'm talking, 12-16.

Just some late-night curiosities. (Can't sleep.)

Perhaps, it's something that may come in future. However, the amount of work to be done for the task is daunting. Here are just a few examples of changes that would need to be made:

Every chest, leg and head piece in the game would have to be refitted to every race and body type.
Every animation, for each race and gender, would have to be reevaluated to make certain that it still fit with the body. If it did not, new animations would have to be created for each discrepancy.

Needless to say, that is all a lot of time away from creating new content art and animations.
