Account Bound items

Greetings.

When Account bound items first came out I purchased one and to test it out sent it from my alliance hunter to my horde warrior on the same server. I had no issues with this what so ever and was able to send it back to my hunter after I recieved it on my warrior.

I have recently purchased the Melee DPS Leather shoulders from wintergrasp. However, upon trying to send it to my level 5 horde rogue I get a message about how that toon is hostile toward me. So what gives? Did the "Account Bound" Items go from account bound to "Faction Bound" or is this a bug? If this is not a bug then I would suggest renaming those items to reflect the change or risk a possible 'bate and switch' suit from less than understanding individuals.

Thank you for your time. Hopefully we can accord.

I am unaware of any cases in which Account Bound items have been able to be sent across faction boundaries on a PvE realm, Lithtyr. I'm terribly sorry for any inconvenience this has caused, but you will be unable to trade these items between factions.

If you have an item that you purchased for the sole intention of transferring it to a character of the opposite faction and now want the item reimbursed, you may want to consider submitting an in-game petition. I'm unable to offer any guarantees, but we'll be happy to look into this for you. You're also welcome to post on the Suggestions Forum if you feel we should change the name from "Account Bound" to "Faction Bound."

Again, you have my utmost apologies for any confusion, Lit.

Let me know if you have any questions.
