OK, my guild was stolen from me, <Brotherhood of blood> in the Carine server. I was the original gm and i was going to move my main (Syrun) to a different server to play with a rl friend. So, i asked a high ranking guildie who i trust to promote my alt to GM. So i gave him Gm and he was supposed to give the GM to my alt. But, i gave him gm and he logged off for awhile. Then, now all of a sudden he said that i was quiting the guild and that i wanted him to be the new GM which isnt true! Not even in the slightest!!

So now, when i tried to confront him over Guild chat, he called me a lier, all sorts of names, the whole 9-yards. He got the GM status then was afraid to lose it or something. Please i spent so much gold trying to get the guild going to dont want to see it taken from me. Am i screwed or is there any way i can get my GM status back and get rid of the jerk whos doing this....

I'm so sorry that you regret your decision.

Based on the spot investigation I've performed, I can see that you willingly handed over leadership to a player that, at the time, you trusted. Unfortunately, it is very unlikely that we will be able to further intervene in a situation of this nature.

In the future, it is critical that you consider your decisions carefully, especially if they pertain to something as important as a guild or arena team.

then blizzard should make it where you can give gm status to someone who is off-line or an alt of the Gm to PREVENT something like this. So now im out an upwards of 2500g just freaking great. not too mention countless hours helping out low levels but yes blizz this theif has every right to come along and steal my hard work.

It does not appear as though anything was 'stolen', Syrun, nor does there appear to have been deception of any kind. Please keep in mind that we are able to review conversations in the course of an investigation, amongst other things.

If you feel that the restrictions on passing guild leadership should change, however, please feel free to express your concerns via the Suggestions forum.

Also, speaking of gold, just as a reminder:

That will be quite enough of that.

I will be locking this thread now to prevent further unnecessary exchanges.
