3.1.2 reality

PVE looks like its back to 100% affliction. Demo is only useful if no ele shammy is present. On its own meta/ruin is not competitive. Destro just had its spine broken *again*. Felguard/emberstorm hybrid build might still work. Affliction is competitive dmg on a single target that you can stand still and cast. Movement, target switching, or any burst necessity and affliction fails compared to other pure dmg classes.

PVP it has become clear that for whatever design or direction reason the devs just want warlocks to be non viable. Conspiracy theorize, claim ignorance on devs part, whatever....it really doesn't matter the reality is warlocks will be worse than any class in history for pvp and that is the way the devs want it. As GC is so fond of reminding us its their world/game and we just pay to play there. In that world warlocks are melee's patchwerk dps dummy, sub standard vs any ohter caster, and no threat to a healer.

If you have a lock and pvp give it up. If you only raid set your two specs for affliction and FG/emberstorm (or meta ruin if you can't find an ele shammy).

I've never said this before but for warlocks and pvp its time to call it quits. Every promise of a "fix" has been a lie, every buff a nerf, every prejudical double standard applied negatively against us. Any tool or tactic the community uses is rapidly nerfed to the point of non viability.

I would love to know what spec, tactic, comp, or niche the devs envision for warlocks in pvp. Thus far the best and brightest of the community from here, EJ, and arena junkies all can't figure one out.

Its getting realy hard to believe the devs dont have some form of agenda against locks in pvp, no matter how low our representation goes, the nerfs just never stop.

Watch out, my post saying much the same got deleted. One must not criticize the exalted Blizz!

You can criticize our design decisions all you want, and plenty of players do. Just look around. "Feedback" (to use the term loosely) that we have an agenda against locks is QQ and is not the kind of thing we tolerate on our forums.
