Well I am making this post reguarding my friend that recently got one of his accounts banned after being inactive for 4 months. I dont know why he was but he got banned the other day saying he was cheating.. Now see the thing is, how is this possible after we quit WoW about 4 months ago. He canncelled his account and then about 2 days ago he recieves an email saying he was banned for cheating? How in the world is this possible? They sent him with no details or anything. Now the thing that really sucks is that he had 4 60 chars on this account. Now after all that effort and everything its all gone for no SPECIFIC reason? What is going on? What can he do? I am sure if blizzard looked into his account they will see that he hasnt been active for 4 months. Any ideas??

Well????

Comon what is this crap?

Tell me a good reason on how he could of be banned after be inactive for 4 months?

You haven't provided me with enough information to provide you with good reason, Treachery. If you provide me with a character name and its realm on your friend's account, I'll look into it. Keep in mind that I will be unable to discuss the details of an account action with any third parties inquiring.

Ok well one of his chars names is:

Cyanide-Gurubashi

Thanks

That character is currently level 0. Are you sure that's the correct spelling and realm?

Listen, Treachery, I understand what you're saying. You keep telling me no one's played his account for four months, now he's banned and doesn't know why. I get it.

Now, I'm trying to tell you that I have no way of verifying any of your claims if I cannot look up the account information.

Edit: Thank you. = )

The account does not appear to have been closed in error. Your friend will need to reply to the email notification sent to him by our Account Administration department for further questions, comments, concerns, or disputes. While I do appreciate the concern you're expressing for your friend, I will be unable to further discuss this matter with you.

Well can you please send him an email explaining why he was banned? He said he sent an email but you guys never sent anything back.

If he sent it to [email protected], they will reply as soon as possible, and do reply to all emails they receive. This is a matter that must be handled through that department at this time.
