OK to use Large Address Aware Flag with WOW?

So, WOW doesn't really work anymore. I play the game at max settings at 2560x1600, and it repeatedly crashes to the desktop with an "Out of storage space" bug. Blizzard acknowledges that the bug exists, but they refuse to fix it.

Is it all right for me to modify wow.exe with the large address aware flag so I can actually play the game?

How can I play the game I'm paying $15 a month for? I didn't pay $15 this month to run at Dell laptop settings.

Lowering detail/resolution is not an option.

Quick question, as I am really curious... what bug? News to me.

I mean, I know you will get that error message when you have a corrupt Cache folder, but deleting that fixes it.
