Can't get past Authenticating...

Trying to log on to WoW....after typing in password and pressing enter, it gets stuck at the part that says "Authenticating" and goes not further. It has been stuck here a few times today, but normally eventually continues on to the character selection screen....but not now. Just won't let me past it.

I'm trying to connect from Brisbane, Australia....and yes I am connected to the internet.

Come on guys...its Sat night here...prime playing time...can u give an ETA?
