Why Does Blizzard Play Their Own Game?

Iv'e seen blue posts saying what they do in WoW quite a lot now and i'm wondering, wouldn't it be boring to play your own game?
For example when someone writes a book, it may be a very interesting one but he author wouldn't read his own book in interest.

Some of us play in moderation. It can be hard to play some times when we get home if we've been hard at work for a while. Most of the time though, getting to sit back and enjoy the game as a player can be very relieving, and some times makes work more fun. If we're invested into the game like any other player in the community, it makes engaging the community a little more natural.

We also play because we love games, as is the reason we love working here. :)

What race/class do you play? have you played Diablo 3 yet?

My main is a gnome warlock.

I played what was at BlizzCon last year very briefly one day when Bashiok snuck me into their development area. DO WANT.

SO, do any Blizzard folks actually PUG? I understand from many posts, and common sense. That many of you are in the "secret" guilds. And most likely you all play together alot. But, I wonder if any of you play the game as it would be for the average player.

The guild Crygil and I are in is very tiny, so we tend to pug a few positions for 10-player content, and over half the positions for 25-player content. Over time though, we've developed a network of trusted players from other guilds, so that's why I said "psuedo-pug" in a thread earlier today.
