As I've said frequently recently.

I'm constantly amazed at the people who continue to pay for a game they so obviously loathe.

Sigh well I hate to be the one who actually says this but I think many are thinking it... The new Patch sucks. Okay so we got dual spec, that helps out some toons, but is it worthy of saying this patch is awesome? Okay so we can fish everywhere, sigh, yawn. Okay so we can BG from anywhere, yeah, sigh not really "epic". The Argent tournament, neat concept, just under done. Jousting is fun for like 20 minutes, but such little reward and no depth. Charge armor, throw spear, charge and melee, rinse repeat....

I am just not fascinated with the new content, it's just not what I am looking for. C'mon give me a break Blizzard cutting Black Diamonds is a damn joke. Where is all the creativity? Where's the adventure? I like being able to run solo quests, I like roaming around vast expanses of "what's behind the next corner" stuff. Raiding is great and requires time getting mats and getting gold. But damn where is the reward? We have to wait for 25 people to get together for more than a couple of hours, then we have to stop and wait another day to continue and in between that time we have to go farm again. I think that it just blows that the only way to get new gear that is worth anything is to raid. Where is the individuality? Why has the idea of "group runs" become so popular that it has taken the thrill of individual adventure away? For almost 6 months now we have seen a million people running around with Jenkins across their names. We have seen the same damn gear, the same mounts, the same *@@@ over and over, it's like everyone is a damn clone....

WHERE IS THE THRILL? It's almost as if Blizzard has hired alot of people who went to school, got their degrees to write code and let them loose. Designers on this game a slipping big time. The major content (raids) are done well but the world interest stuff seems to be done by people who only glanced at D&D, or read the covers of Dragon's Lance books while shopping at the mall. Must be a bunch of kids who think they know what's cool. Where are the guys and gals who watched Heman, Shera, and the Saturday morning toons like Dungeons and Dragons. Where are the people who can tell you that "YES RED SONJA" is part of the Conan movie series. Where have all the people who read the Xanath books gone. Oddly enough it seems that age and knowledge in this stuff makes you uncool. They've been replaced by people, lost in their ipods and blu tooth head sets. Their creativity has been utterly shattered by watching Cribs and MTV. They all need to eat some damn steak and potatoes and grow some hair on their nuts. Give us what we pay for, not what you think is cool, because really your Fall Out Boys, your little EMO *@@@ only got you the job.... but it's all crap. I really blame Blizzard management. They are enabling these kids/people to sit in their cubicals for hours at a time sipping red bull and chugging mountain Dew just writting code. Blizzard let these guys go get laid, let them out let them breath. GIVE US SOME GOOD *@@@ ALREADY.

So far I think the patch is a fail, not and epic fail, but a fail none the less.

There are several ways you can express your criticism of the new 3.1 content, Nohvan, but this is not one of them. You're welcome to return and note your frustrations if you can do so without lobbing half-hearted insults without any merit.
