When a wipe feels so right...

Of course the goal when raiding is to advance, experience as much of the content as possible, perhaps be the first on your realm to conquer an encounter, and maybe even walk away with some fantastic new prizes. What I've found though, in my experiences with many different guilds and psuedo-pugs, is that there always seems to be that one person that's so fun to watch die that it almost becomes it's own mini-game.

So let's have a popcorn story-telling session. Do you share in my vision of a fun side game? Why do you think it's entertaining? Who do you single out in a raid and wish dead, even if it means wasting everyone's time?

Popcorn... first poster!

Edit: No poo jokes please.

We single out Mangeras because he went insane on our first Yogg-Saron kill costing us the achievement. Sometimes, we res Mangeras just so he can die multiple times in an encounter. Then we ask him why he is even in the guild. He responds, whimpering, "Because I enjoy raiding with you guys."

Hey now, you know you're a distant second on the list behind a certain death knight.

Once we're on farmed content, I hold a contest 'kill the player' where I pick a certain member of my raid and say that first one to get them killed by any means gets a prize. Sometimes it's been gold, sometimes it's been other things.

For example, doing an AoE pack of trash, the warlock is the target, a spriest single targets a mob enough to pull aggro, and fade dumps aggro onto the warlock. Warlock dies, Priest wins!

Funniest wipe I've ever been a part of was in Kara on Maiden, we "ready checked" everything good... okay, "Pull!" ... the warrior tank then proceeds to charge Maiden in his birthday suit. We all died laughing even before Maiden killed us all. Evidently, the warrior had a "get naked" macro button that he accidentally pushed as he charged in... classic.

lol

Right after a patch, before the nerfs start cascading in, and/or we have to play make-believe in hard modes to keep from stopping raids out of boredom.

Oh you...

I love that Song :) Puscifer FTW.

You don't happen to know who that is singing with JK do you?

OT: Milla Jovovich. She performed that song with him when I saw Puscifer live about a month ago in LA.
