Accidentally destroyed valuable item I need

This is going to sound stupid probably because A; I am freaking out and B: it takes a nublet to do this, but,
I just accidentally destroyed my DPS set valorous t7 helm instead of the heroes version. I have had both for a while, and I just recently got valor gaunts from sarth. I was thinking I need more inventory space, so I destroyed heroic gaunts, and put on valor, and I must have accidentally right clicked my valor helm before I destroyed it because it has the same icon but the next thing I know I have tier 7 helm on and no 7.5 in my bags. If you view this post fast enough you can see me with my 7.5 helm on, I DID have it, I got it 2 weeks ago.
Please blizzard, restore this item for me. I did not mean to do this and it was a total accident.
edit
BAH son of a gun..I last logged out in my bunny helm..haha..oh well, I'm sure blizzard has records of these things and what is destroyed?? I hope.
I put in a GM ticket but it says estimated time 9 hours..I cannot wait that long online.

Q u o t e:

Thanks for the quick responses, I put in the ticket, it says we are currently experiencing a high volume of petitions, so it'll probably be a while :(
I just hope they can restore this, I raid, and not having my valorous helm is kind of a big deal heh.

And that message is very true indeed. Due to the recent patch issues the number of petitions we currently have in queue is fairly high so it may take several hours until a Game Master can address your petition, Levitius.

I reviewed your petition and although it is quite good it may be a better idea to edit your petition and include the name of the item you want to have restored instead of its common name like "tier 7 helm", "tier 7.5 legs", etc.... That way there is less chance of confusion and your petition can be addressed appropriately.

If you need to log out for the even you may, at long as you do not close out your petition it will be addressed as soon as it can be.

Good luck, Levitius.
