BoA Shoulders issue.

I purchased Exceptional Stormshroud Shoulders for 200 Stone Keeper's Shards. I did this because they were leather and I knew that my Hunter used leather from 1-39. I did not know that if you buy mail BoA shoulders that they are leather from 1-39 and mail 40+. I bought the shoulders yesterday and have been using them for awhile now so I can't sell them and get the shards back.

My question is this, can I have the leather Stormshroud shoulders removed by a GM and have my Stone Keeper's Shards refunded so that I can purchase their mail counterpart? Would a GM do this or am I wasting my time contacting them In-Game?

If I can't get a refund and just have to suck up my loses then I think a warning should pop up when you buy these shoulders stating how the armor type works with them and how it can change after level 39. I feel like I was poorly informed by Blizzard before purchasing these.

Submit an in-game petition. Make sure you list the name of the item and that you would like a refund, it would also be a good idea to mention that you weren't aware that the refund time disappeared if the item was mailed. I am unable to guarantee that we'll be able to assist you, Mythrel, it may be possible though and it certainly doesn't hurt to ask. :)
