if there was a nerf or not. Would they just go unnoticed if the player never brought them up? The exorcism/traps/death strike ones for example.. All stealth nerfed and had to be brought up by players.

Heh. Actually it's funny to see how many "Was I stealth nerfed?" threads on almost every topic. :)

A true stealth nerf would be something we were trying to hide, or at least waiting to see if players discovered it. There aren't many changes like that, particularly in this day and age. When we make hotfixes, we are patching the server. This isn't a big orchestrated change like launching a new client patch so we don't always know the exact minute or second when the change goes in.

If it's something we intended, we'll let you know pretty quickly. If it's a bug, we'll let you know once we figure out if it's going on.

We made changes to Conflagrate, Death Strike and Exorcism lately. We have not made any changes to shaman damage, hunter trap arming time or many of the other questions that have popped up lately. If any of those are bugs, we'll let you know as we verify that.

Q u o t e:
I'm pretty sure 99.9% of druids out there still have not noticed the stealth nerf to hurricane that happened ~3 months ago which is still not announced on any patch notes anywhere yet.

Originally: reduce opponent's attack speed by 60%.

Now: reduce opponent's attack speed by 30%.

That was a bug. It only applied to one rank I believe.

I guess it doesn't really matter to us what you want to call the nerfs. I was just saying that hiding something like "Exorcism can't be used on players" is going to pretty challenging.

P.S. If this has become a "GC lies" thread, then I'll have to post elsewhere. I've never been dishonest with the community. In fact, I tell you straight to your "face" when we nerf you and why. But I guess the same crowd who calls every nerf a stealth nerf will call it what they will. :)
