Characters here can take quite a while to update.
But yes, placing an in-game petition with the character name/race/level etc and asking for a restoration will allow us to look into this for you.

How long does it normally take to perform a character retrieval? My character that i have the ticket open for has only been deleted for a few days. It's a lvl 80 DK, and i've had the ticket open for about a day and a half.
Queue times fluctuate based on the number and complexity of the requests sent in. Currently petitions are taking around 48 hours to resolve.
Just leave your petition open and one of our Game Masters will look into your request.
