I wonder how much the 3rd rank will need.

You need 15 aspirant seals to get to rank 2 (valiant) then 25 valiant seals to get to rank 3 (champion).

If i'm not wrong the quest chain takes:
15 aspirant seal to become valiant this is 3 days at least
25 valiant seal to become champion this takes 5 days

Yup.

and u have to do this for every faction?

When you change to another faction you start out as a valiant - they aren't so mean to put you back to an aspirant and whacking target dummies. So it is 25 seals/5 days to become a champion of another city.

In other words in 28 days you will be champion of all the cities

Sounds right. Then you just need lots of the champion level seals to purchase the items at that rank.

Bornakk,
please correct me If i'm wrong.
You can only get 5 champion token per day. it does not matter how many cities are you champion of right?

With the current number of daily quests available at champion rank, you can only get 5 per day. The number of cities you are a champion of does not factor into this, only how many city quartermasters you have access to.

>.< ouch so to get all mounts (750 tokens) you need to do all the daillies for 150 days in a row. :S
lots of work ahead then

Edit: thanks for the info Bornakk

Mount and pet collectors must be dedicated! (see you there!)

Q u o t e:

B . . seriously , will there be city spcific armor sets?

We'll see what happens in the future, everything currently planned is in the game and available at this time.

so why are the items that take so much time and effort to get no better than heroic dungeon quality? which can be farmed for much less effort and in much less time.

Not everybody farms heroics/raids. ;-)

I wish I could enjoy it. It looks like lots of fun. But people on our server kill the npc's over and over again so after 3 hours trying to do the first 3 dailies and not being able to turn them in I gave up. Hopefully soon they will get bored.

Hotfixed this issue not too long ago. ;-)

Is there a level requirement to start the quests? I went on 4/15/09 and as lvl 72 the quest giver and nothing for me (gray asterisk). I started looking around and so only lvl 80s, but the advert on this site says that it is "open to all". Seems to me if you have access to Northrend you should be able to do the Tournament.

The level requirement should be 77, that is why we placed it in a location like Icecrown.

Bornakk,

Is there a point to the lumber and stones quests besides money? Like will the arena grounds start building up with server's progression of daily quests? Like the Isle of Quel'Danis was when it first opened?

They are there for money and flavor, need help building that giant structure and all.

Bornakk, please get me something clear:

While I'm a champion of orgrimmar for example, if I decide to start rising from valiant to another city I will lose the right to buy Org's goods? Or I can reach a point where I'm champion of all 5 cities and can buy everything at anytime I want?

The plan is to never lose access to a quartermaster once you have opened it up.

Q u o t e:
The only thing that really bugs me about the Tournament is that those stupid tokens go into your backpack rather than getting added to the Currency tab. Why oh why did you decide to make those tokens actual items Blizzard?

Otherwise, it's been pretty fun so far.

The aspirant and valiant seals are not a currency really. Once you get enough of them to gain access to the next rank you don't need them anymore. The champion seals on the other hand are a currency and go into the currency window.

This was changed in a later build of the PTR, I believe, so that you can only acquire 5 Champion's Seals per day.

It changed around a couple times, so I can easily be off on any small number changes like this.
