Can't we be patient?

There are countless threads complaining about the new patch with seemingly very little tolerance for the glitches. Although irritating in the sense that we just want to play this awesome game, it IS understandable that this major patch might have a few glitches that might not show up on a test server. It has only been a couple days. I think we need to be more patient. The Blizz gang is, I'm sure, diligently trying to make this a better game. They could just sit back and let it continue to roll as is, but instead they are constantly making a new and better machine. Let's give them a little more time before we start complaining and demanding a refund, etcetera. In the meantime, it does seem useful to start threads documenting the glitches in order to better facilitate their repair.

picturing in my mind 20 blizz employees deleting posts that complain, and 1 programmer eating ho-ho's and playing scorched earth.

:)

That would be just about as backwards as you can get. We have a very small number of people moderating the forums. There are far more than 20 people staying here trying to work out issues that have arisen.

What's the address? I'll send them Ho-Ho's :)

I want Ho-Ho's. All I have is carrots. >.> I don't think they have Ho-Ho's either.

I would have been content if they had just shutdown servers for 2-3 days, given us that time instead of making us pay for it.

We generally don't make people pay for large outages or unscheduled down time.
