I can only assume that Tech Support at Blue is flat out at the moment after the patch rollout, but I logged a ticket for support both in game and through the online web forum approx 18 HOURS ago and I haven't seen any action as yet. Indeed, normally the in game ticket lodgement system would give you an idea of how long before you can get someone from support to attend to your query, but over the last 18+ hours now all I've seen in game is...

"You have an open ticket. We are currently experiencing a high volume of petitions"

and it has not moved at all. Not even an email response from blue to advise they have received my ticket.

What's happening guys? I work in IT myself so I appreciate that post patch you're going to have increased volumes of tickets being logged for support, but the ingame ticket system is fairly vague and I haven't heard from anyone now in nearly a full day of waiting.

Is anyone else having similar issues?

You have my apologies for any delays that have been experienced in regards to our ability to provide assistance, Gàrrett. Unfortunately — as is usually the case after a patch as large as this one — there are an extremely high number of in-game assistance requests (tickets/petitions) in our queue and as such it will take some time before we are able to address all of them.

Unfortunately, hiring additional staff simply to address an increased load for a — compared to the rest of the time — brief period of time is not always applicable, nor the appropriate method of addressing such a situation. However, we are, and have been hiring steadily for a good while now; sadly, we're unable to make Game Masters out of thin air, as much as we'd like to. ;)
