What do I do if someone has infiltrated my PC and got hold of my secret answer? I'm afraid that my account has been compromised. I changed the password and email but I don't know if that will do anything because if someone has my secret answer, they can change all that right?

Q u o t e:

I've heard ???

no there is NO way to change the secret Q&A ( edit : Blue slap me down please if this has changed )

1) account name .. can't be changed
2) account password .. can be changed
3) secret question and answer .. can't be changed
4) registered email ... can be changed
5) authenticator .. can be changed

and now you can add another layer around all this by linking a battlenet account ... which permits you to log into your wow account with .. hey guess what !?

1) a different "account name"
3) a different "secret question and answer"

^---this!

Retooc, the Authenticator would be a great added level of security to your account. If you have an iPhone or iPod Touch you can download it for free, and associate it with your account right away. If not, then you can get one from the Blizzard Store, should they be in stock right now.

Although you cannot change the SQ/A on your current account, as Svenlaugen mentioned above, you can tie that account to a Battle.Net account, and choose a new SQ/A for THAT account, which will add another layer of security. That way, your account will be like an onion. :0P
