"Can't launch additional instances"

This is getting to be a big problem on Terenas, especially with the release of 3.1. Everybody is checking out the new raid instance to the point where people can't get into anything at all. Also, I think it's related to this but I'm not sure, battlegrounds took a big hit last night as they weren't able to be started up.

Either way, maybe it's time to look at beefing up the hardware a little so the server can support more instances? It kind of sucks having to cancel your raid or heroic because you can't get in.

Just as a follow-up, Tenebras, is this issue still ongoing at this time?

The realm itself is fine, you get this message when many instances are active. Only so many instances can be launched at the same time, with an increased interest in high level raids along with high level characters soloing low level dungeons on the higher population realms the interest may outweigh the resources.

Our technicians are working on ways to optimize the realms to minimize the number of times you may see this message but in the end resources are not infinite.
