Youre Nerfing Ulduar... AGAIN!?

If Ulduar is on par with SSC/TK and the playerbase is supposed to be better at raiding than they were back in TBC then why is Ulduar being nerfed continuously? This is the third straight week of nerfs and now you say you're nerfing 6 more bosses?!?

But if the playerbase is soo good, then why would you need to continuously nerf content? Hmm... maybe it's cuz the playerbase ISNT soo good... gee I guess we can throw out that false meme that's tossed around these forums. And by you repeatedly nerfing content nobody has an incentive to GET good.

Blizzard do you understand what progression is anymore? Progression takes time. Three weeks is not enough time to wait before cutting down half the obstacles. You should be making content HARDER while your playerbase gains more experience in there, not easier.

Who wants to see all the content anyway?! I certainly don't. What's there to do then? The reason I keep coming back is because I know there is content I won't see before the next patch arrives, it makes the gameworld so much more depthful and lively and enticing. WoW quickly loses that appeal when you can see anything in-game at a whim.

Daelo summed it up pretty well in his post on the Raid and Dungeon forum: "We want to allow additional players to experience more of the cool Ulduar content."

We want dungeons, including Ulduar, to be accessible for players. If everything is difficult then few players will experience the content that we have been working on for several months now.

At the same time a lot of the hard modes have been increased in difficulty to give players something more challenging to work toward.

Q u o t e:

What the hell was the point of 10 mans then? I mean the whole basis for them was so that people who "didn't have the time to raid 25 mans" could see the content wasn't it?

Not really. It was to provide another progression path for players who aren't interested in trying to find a bigger group to run with. A lot of players have just enough friends online to fit into a 10 player group and we didn't want to force the need to get another 15 players to see the raid content as we want it to be more accessible.

Yes, the 10 player raids are meant to be a bit easier, but they are still challenging and not meant to just be the easy mode that people close their eyes and walk through.
