Here's the issue:
The moderation (if you were to call it that) on my realm (Cenarion Circle) has gotten so bad to the point that it's abusive. For those unaware, CC is a RP server.
As an example of the sorts of things being deleted-
In a thread advertising an In Character (IC) group going through the Pre-BC dungeons, I asked, IC, about scheduling for the rest of the dungeons. See- The post advertised that all of the old content would be gone through and then only made mention of a time for running ZG.
My IC question was deleted. The answer, which was quite useful, was thankfully not deleted. And the quote of my question was not deleted.
Plainly put- This makes no sense.
Most of the threads on our board are missing numerous posts due to some sort of draconic enforcement of rules that has strangled our forum community. People don't want to put effort into posts only to have them reported and deleted. We've had RP posts deleted.
On an RP server. Is this how the system is supposed to work? Are the realm forums supposed to be so abusive that no one posts there? To think there was a time when our quaint little realm forum was more jovial and loose with the rules than the general forum seems almost heresy at this point.
Toiling serfs we've become, ever fearful of the invisible jackboots squashing our hopes and breaking our necks.
