The 'anal' spam in /trade...

Just wondering if anything is actually being done about this. I report every asshat that spams it, which I believe auto-ignores the account. Yet I still see hour-long sessions. I'm talking 9 out of every 10 trade chat messages being 'anal(insert random spell/talent here)' . It's MUCH more annoying than the cassino crap and that merrited a blue post. Can we please do something about this?

I truly puzzles me why this 'fad' seems to come and go, or really why folks seem to think it so funny, but that's another discussion.

Yes, please do use report spam on these. That's normally reserved to report advertisers, but when this fad first took off we were given special dispensation to use it for this as well.

Those are indeed examined and appropriate actions are taken.

What's funny though is BECAUSE they're swamped right now.... it means "until GM review" is a very long time

Not as long as you might think.

The problem is we the customers weren't told what it can be used for. When people are using trade for looking for group or advertising their guild I report them for spam as well.

The function is called Report Spam, Shoap, you use it to Report Spam. Seems clear enough. O.o
